Dr. G. V. Venela is an academician, social reformer, and political leader with a Ph.D. in Women Empowerment from Osmania University, an MBA, and a Postgraduate Diploma in School Leadership. She has served as an Associate Professor at MRCET, contributed to poverty alleviation programs, and actively advocates for SC/ST rights as a District Vigilance Committee member. As Secretary of Ambedkar Vidyaniketan Trust, she champions education for underprivileged children. A cultural enthusiast, she has performed in over 1,000 folk programs, contributed to Gaddar Galam, and written popular Telugu songs. Politically, she contested as INC MLA candidate for Secunderabad Cantonment (71) in 2023 and served as Incharge till the 2024 bi-election, also acting as a Star Campaigner in the 2024 Parliament Elections. She is a Gaddar Awards Committee member, continuing her father’s legacy of activism and social justice.
